Simon D'Lima

Simon D’Lima (March 18, 1924 – December 9, 2013) was a Pakistani veteran school teacher and principal.
He was born on March 18, 1924 in Karachi, Pakistan to Liberata Sequeira and Michael D’Lima. He was educated in Karachi, where he earned a Bachelor of Education degree.〔(The Mail Archive December 9, 2013 )〕 He started teaching mathematics at St Patrick's High School, Karachi in the 1950s.〔(Dawn 30 April 2011 )〕
After more than 20 years he left to become Principal of PAF Model School, Karachi. He later founded St Peters High School in Karachi. He taught for over 50 years.〔(Dawn 24 December 2013 )〕
D’Lima also taught former President Pervez Musharraf, prime ministers Mohammad Khan Junejo and Shaukat Aziz, and many other luminaries at the three educational institutions.〔(The News December 12, 2013 )〕
D’Lima died on December 9, 2013 in Venice, Florida in the United States.〔( The Express Tribune, December 12, 2013 )〕
